Hi One Vision.

In the rare case a dmx lead fails, comes in handy to replace/renew the xlr plugs.

I know that would be one of the reasons but would you actualy do any soldering at a gig? :) I just thought it would make more sense to have spare leads

Must admit I carry a soldering iron and solder but they are still in the box. TBH chances are they would not be used but carry them 'just incase'

Other Items :

Pliers
Socket Set
Wire strippers / crimpers
Hammer
Screwdriver with various 'bits'
Multimeter
Multi Tool 'thing'
Adjustable Spanner
Hacksaw
Baby wipes to keep my hands clean :D

Usable electrical items ie fuses, wires etc are carried in my wires box and taken inside with me and the toolbox left in the van.

There's very little in mine...just a couple of screw drivers & a pair of pliers really.

I've never needed anything else, though...yet!

Ah. Good point. Still, that tool kit does in fact go to nearly every gig. At least I'm ready if I have to build my own stage, and fasten it to the concrete floor. :D

I'm pretty much in the minimalist arena in that I carry a range of spare bulbs and fuses plus some screwdrivers, tape, torch and a leatherman.

One thing I do have in there that hasn't been mentioned is paracetomol. Its just the worst thing trying to DJ with a banging headache!
