well it's official I have managed to get glandular fever half way through December. My doctor has forced me to give up work with a mandatory sick note due to health reasons. Apparently any strenuous work may rupture my spleen as it is so inflammed. I currently have a size 24inch collar size due to swollen glands not nice.

For the first time had to turn gigs down for coming week luckily they were not my personal gigs anyway but still felt guilty but cannot talk and even moving makes me dizzy as hell so probably for the best.

Thanks a lot to the guys who ended up with the gigs its been a big help and luckily not let anyone down as all my gigs for the coming month have been covered.

So have fun guys im going to bed :(

Sorry to hear this Spin.

It seems like there are a lot of bugs about at the moment.

I'm in a similar boat.

I've spent half this week in bed, as I've lost my voice, have a temperature & have also had the trots & been sick.

Lovely!

Ahh buddy! Hope you get better soon! Like Rob said, there's a few bugs going around at the minute.

Hope you're feeling considerably better for christmas day!

Glandular fever is hardly just "a bug", it is very serious & can take you out of the loop for months.

Take it easy Matt & get well as soon as possible.

Ouch - glandular fever is not a nice experience. Take things easy, Matt. I hope you start feeling better soon.

I've had glandular fever, my brother did too last year. Not nice.

Take it easy!
