Grrr...don't you hate it when you have to explain one of your jokes?
Fortunately it doesn't happen too often with me. :D :D
Tom, the following is the first verse of Good King Wenceslas, which should explain things. Pay special attention to the second line.
"Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even;
Brightly shone the moon that night, tho' the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight, gath'ring winter fuel."

OK Lads, shaggy dog story.
A young lady wanted to take her beloved home to meet the prospective in-laws. She was a bit worried, as he was Norwegian, and a Teddy Boy. His name was Olf, and his language could also be a bit fruity at times. Come the day, and Olf is a big hit with her parents. Things are going better than she could have dreamed of. So well, that her Dad, who works for British Rail, offers Olf some of the British Rail beer, that he gets from work.Olf acepts gleefully, and takes a deep draught of the foaming brew. His face contorts, and he dashes the glass to the floor, a torrent of abuse and foul invective flowing from his lips. "Oh no Dad, I forgot to tell you" she says.
Rude Olf the Ted loathes Train Beer. :sofa:

Rob, wouldn't say your joke is old but the first time my granny heard that one she laughed so hard she fell out of her highchair!
Peter, bad. Very bad!
Jay, what brand of christmas crackers do you buy? I hadn't heard that one before!
