Footballers (Allegedly)

Does anyone one agree that ,should professional footballers assault DJ's, on conviction they should be jailed for a minimum of 5 years. Furthermore, their team deducted 20 points and banned from European competitions forever ?

I don't believe Steven Gerrard will have 'attacked' the DJ without being provoked. IMO i think the DJ will have taken it too far (banter wise), and has been smacked by somebody.

Whether that was Gerrard, remains to be seen!

I find the whole matter quite strange... :D

In the incident to which you refer this particular player was apparently pushed away from the decks.
I agree that it would be an unusual reaction...........

The point is that we have no idea what happened, making it hard to comment.

For example, It's possible Gerrard had been drinking...and we all know how alcohol can affect some people.

I agree we shouldnt form an opinion until all the facts are known. i have heard various descriptions of the man who was attacked. Some say he was a dj others that he was a friend of the dj and others that he was standing in for the dj. I have also read that he was behind the bar. Is that the normal place for a dj?

I'm obviously a chelsea fan - and no matter how much i dislike liverpool, i find it hard to see Gerrard being that silly to raise a hand or throw a punch to a member of the public ( all bit it a DJ ).

He is a sensible, family man who is a true professional and should be idiolised by kids everyway.

So, i think that he has been caught up in this the wrong way, and because of who is - his name has been dragged into it.

That's always a possibility, but then would the police get it so wrong? When you think of the repercussions for the police if they blackened an innocent celebrities name? They must have had good reason to arrest him, they don't just go round arresting bystanders:confused:

I have known a couple one was great an one was an idiot. i would punch him if he was coked up and said something stupid. don't know much about football and everyone should act the same.
