These, I believe, have been out for a while now.

Most of the dj shows on 2008 I have been too had one of these thre. They look quite cool but I don't think I could use one of those for dj'ing.

Its great as a novelty, or for long car/boat/bus or plane journeys! As a piece of equipment, it works, but looks like your sending a txt message all night! (even worse than a laptop DJ looking like their sending emails all night :sofa: )

It is useable, and after a little practice, mixing is a breeze, only problem with it, is that its got no search facility, so if you've got over about 30 tracks on it, its a nightmare to find what you want!

If it incorperated a microphone and was wireless I'd get one, I have enough grief keeping my headphones, mic and mouse cables from ending up like spaghetti.....

.....imagine the mess I'd get into with 2 more cables to deal with! :D

That must make it pretty useless for DJs...who usually have 10,000 tracks or more.

Nah, not a good idea, parents expect me to pay back with interest.. anyway, i'm saving up to pay off the money owed and for investment in other bits of kit DENON HD2500 -PRODUB & a- second L1 Double B1 set -

Its not really been designed for the mobile DJ who uses a mic.
Its more for a proper club DJ, who can prepare or practice mixes while on the go, and, if they want, create a bit of a stage show, walking into the crowd, and DJing with it on the dance floor, or stage etc..... (using it with a wireless belt pack).

Yeah not sure me crowd surfing at weddings is going to go down too well, could climb up my stack of speakers and hang off them like Bono at live aid! :D

I have one and I really enjoy using it. As with everything there are pros and cons. One good thing is that it has a large hard drive and you can store a very big collection of music on there. Secondly if you buy a wirless mic system you can walk around your audience

however it does take some time to load up and sometimes you can forget which deck you are playing the music from and stop it accidentally. It does take some getting used to!
