Looks good, but is there any way of unforming the external links as the mishmash of logos looks a touch messy. Either that or go for simple text links.

Nice site clean and simple the only thing i would say is those photographs on there ie the wedding and karaoke are they yours because if not should you be watermarking them. other than that looking very good nice work

technically, no, I bought the license to use them, was merely watermarking them for added security so someone couldn't steal my (quite sizable) investment.

Sorted!

I'd take the text away from the borders of the pictures as it's so close it looks like part of the picture.

On your homepage the paragraph:

"Mohawk's Melodies offer a professional mobile disco service covering Edinburgh, The Lothians & Fife. Our aim is to provide you with a tailor made evening of entertainment, with the music style and the lighting that your event requires. We will work closely with you from the planning stages to ensure your event is a success. Please navigate your way around this website to find out about the services we can offer. "

Should read, IMO:

"Mohawk's Melodies offer a professional mobile disco service covering Edinburgh, The Lothians & Fife.

Our aim is to provide you with a tailor made evening of entertainment, with the music style and the lighting that your event requires. We will work closely with you from the planning stages to ensure your event is a success.

Please navigate your way around this website to find out about the services we can offer."

Also on your prices page you have "We happily admit We may not be the cheapest mobile disco in Edinburgh"

Just make this lower case

Something I hate seeing on websites is the text not justified. It looks messy IMO.

In you Other Information category do you need it to be a sub menu of a sub menu?

For the links I would like to see them 468 x 78 banners rather than all different sizes.

i like messy :)

Yes - but i can put a nice pretty picture in there to make the page look a little less barren

go tell that to some of the websites - they just don't do them

Looks good. The link to the MDA (this forum) is linked to to another website though.

Looks like you've given that a lot of thought and it's paid off! I like the payment page, got to do something like that myself.

Just one thing, you've spelt Neil Diamond wrong on your karaoke page, you've put Niall Diamond! :)

Grahame, the frames don't display correctly on IE6, they appear one under another rather than to the right as (I imagine) it is supposed to.

mm, that could be a stumbling block, I checked it with Opera, Firefox and IE7, but not IE6..

shall need to investigate.

Edit : found a lead on this - will investigate and see if it is worth correcting.

Hi Grahame,

The site looks very good in my opinion.

Nice to see an address & landline number as WELL as the email link & mobile number, and also nice to see the guide prices.

The only thing I'd change is to remove the equipment page.

The site looks good Grahame, I like it. Nothing obvious needs changing (maybe I got here a bit late?).

I'd have hosted it for you cheaper than UK2 though :D

Looks great Grahame!

One thing i think to neaten it up, would be to change the alignment of the images on the links page to center. It may 'even' the page out a bit :)

Good work.

True, many people would have, but i've got about 5 different websites all hosted with UK2.net, seems pointless to mess around changing.

I like it.

Clean, fresh and easy to navigate.

A few of the pictures could do with replacing though and certainly the one on the home page that just looks like a blurry shot of people.

Joomla is definately a very powerful tool as long as you have some basic skills with coding. If not you can just download new components and modules which majority of are all free!
Plenty of themes also. Looking for an availability checker component ... if one is available!

Check out our site which is also joomla.. ATR The X-Faders (http://www.voguefm.co.uk/xfaders/website/)
