I think the 4ft stand with lighting bar will be my next purchase and Im tempted by this to accompany it - to avoid scratching inside of van - do you think this will this fit the 4ft stand with the lighting bar? and would you recommend the 4ft stand?

My missus has some carry bags for her wedding dresses (she designs and makes wedding dresses) and she made me some for my giraffe stands. They are perfect and as they are sitting in the van, it doesn't matter what they look like. A lot cheaper too!

I have just ordered one of the carry bags, although wont be putting the top bar in as that's prewired with pin spots, but cant see why not as they come in 2 sections.
I find the 4` perfect, you would struggle to get the 6` in some places.

I thought the 6ft sounded too big - 4ft it is then - cheers

...and thinking about it I would have some of my lights pre wired to the pole too, so no need to worry then - ive never dealt with these stands, so hearing the top light stand is detachable is welcome news - cheers

A mate of mine bought a carry bag for ski's from Lidl for £6, does the job perfectly.

I have bought two 4 ft bags (they weren't 4 ft though) and the zips were the first thing to go, then they ended up with holes in the ends! :(
