CLASS D Cheesed right off with them !!!!

Ok here we go, I have dealt with Class D, since the days when they were selling speakers at £89 per pair and have always been mightily impressed with their products and sung their praises to the hilt (The great debate !)
Pete & Mike have always run a 'tight ship' and their customer service has been second to none !

However, on the 10th December I bought 2 x Pairs of CD 158-1's (On Ebay Before their price hike). Spoke to the guys and was told delivery before xmas wouldn't be a problem as the cut off date for delivery was December 19th.
Lo and Behold no speakers arrive and leave me in the Brown Stuff over the xmas :mad: , managed to get hold of Class D on Dec 28th and spoke to Phil who stated the speakers are here (Big apologies) will confirm when they are being sent out as they are still in the container that arrived from China, but will be with you shortly.

No further contact from Class D (as promised) :bang: so again rang and spoke to Phil who states they were not the CD 158-1's in the container from China as earlier quoted but the standard CD 158's. I declined the offer of 2 x pairs of CD 158's as a substitute product, and stated I would wait for the CD158-1's as originally ordered (He stated they would be no more than a week).

Lo and Behold at 1.15pm today delivery courier arrives with 2 x pairs of CD 158's (Only told them Friday I didn't want these).:bang: So I refused to accept delivery then blew a fuse with Pete at Class D via the telephone and now states the CD158-1's wont be in stock for approx 2 weeks :Censored: (Marvellous) they are still advertising these for sale on Ebay.

So have been waiting since 10th December for goods they don't have and don't look like getting for approx another 2 weeks !

I can understand why your pee'd off with them but this can happen to any supplier (not that I'm defending their poor service).

I hope they get there act together soon as I'm looking for a second amp and while I can get them elsewhere, they did me a really good deal last time.

It might be the end of the Class-d revolution, as I've heard on here that they're putting their prices up too. May be the economy to blame but it's a shame really. :(

We ordered class D CD158-1s in the middle of November and still no sign of them. I have contacted them on several occassions and each time they said they were waiting for delivery of the speakers, anyway to help us out over the christmas period they did send us on loan a pair of JAC12's which were good of them and said they would happily exchange the JAC12s as soon as the CD158-1 shipment comes in, but recently whilst surfing ebay I did come across some identical speakers to the CD158-1 and was branded AC Euro and been sold by Des Grey Music, they were £99 per pair plus £10 delivery, try typing in AC Euro speakers on ebay where Des Grey have these and also the JAC12s (ACP112)

I did point out that last time I visited the warehouse looked like the Marie Celeste. ;) Reckon it's simply a supply problem. ( caused by them selling the cabs so fast? :confused: :D )

Its mostly to do with the exchange rate, the pound has flopped a bit in recent months.

perhaps theyve sold alot recently

normally the products are ordered in China 6 months or more in advance, so if they sell alot more than expected, then yes they will have supply problems until the container arrives

The CD 128 gives out a clear crisp top end due to the 3 piezo tweeters...

The "roving reporter" Mr Penmare is quite local to Skeggy, would'nt mind a report on these speakers, price is cheap but will they match up to the Class D's? or will they die on the first gig??
