Hi all, I was wondering if any of our erudite members would be able to identify the speaker I found while browsing around ebay.
The link is.....

It looks quite tatty but for around a fiver it could be worth a look.
What do you all think.
Cheers.

At a quick glance, I suspected it was a Nigeltronic Reflex Cab, however closer examination reveals the absence of go-faster wheels on the base... therefore I haven't got a clue :p

Bob, that wasn't an entirely sensible reply. ;) :D :D Funny, but..........;) :D
My initial thoughts were that some old Peaveys look like that, but I'm not convinced that it's even a name brand. Sorry.

I originally thought it was a Nigel special but the blurb supplied was not technical enough. ;)

This guy is selling a speaker on ebay, and the only things he doesn't know about it are the make, ratings, technical spec & whether or not it works.
Classic!

Could be a good backup for you. ;) Looks like you could lift it. :p :D

He knows it has handles. Does it look like the connectors (or holes were they should be) are shot to you?

Oh yes.
No teardrop handles...so it's already one up on Peavey!

Sorry, but I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole.
Even for a fiver, unless you wanted it just for the speaker (which may or may not work)
And back on topic, I have no idea what make this could be.

Could be a retro fitted laney speaker. The grill and the connection panel are after market and the cut out looks right size for a wide horn piezo that is obviously missign as well.
so it's already one up on Peavey!
:D
That's not exactly a difficult benchmark to exceed, is it Arthur?
I imagine that even the original Nigeltronic cab which provoked great discussion on this forum is one up on P****y
