many bookings for February yet?

not to spread doom and gloom on the industry guys but it would be nice to hear what parts of the country are being hit by the lack of consumer confidence in this industry?

I've had 4 confirmed bookings in the last 2 days.
One for January (40th Birthday) so I just have this saturday free now.
Two for February (40th Birthdays) so all of February is now full.
One for March (Wedding) and now March is full.

Most of my months for the year were sorted towards the end of last year and all fridays are full as I keep them that way for residency stuff. If it carries on like this (which I doubt), then it should be another busy year.

Here we go then 5 for Jan, 6 for Feb, 5 for March. Summer looks busy and so does Xmas 2009. My Northern office mind I think still has a hangover as they are doing really bad with just 2 in Jan 3 in Feb and 2 in March.
Maybe by look at others in this thread the South of England is the end of the Country wanting to party. I have spoken to companies up North and it seems quite. Hopefully it will pick up for everyone and we will all have a good 2009!!

Feb seems to be abit quite. one or two but thats about it sadly.

It seems that this weekend (Jan 10th) is a popular one. Originally planned the night off to celebrate my 21st Birthday but I've had so much demand to work I've decided to work. I'll celebrate later in the month:D

This year isn't too bad. Have 3 bookings for January, 4 for February (mind you, one was meant to be on January 31st but got rescheduled!), and then nothing until the wedding season starts in May. I'm quite (quite - not Quiet!) happy about this as I am in the process of putting together my new rig especially for the weddings and corporate stuff.

I'm also in the middle of our (long overdue!) overhaul of our website so a slack period is very helpful!

bizarrely, i've had 3 drop in for Febuary this week, 2 thursdays (1 corporate and 1 wedding) and 1 birthday party from a client that i did his wedding and b/day for a couple of years ago.

so that takes the total up to 3 for Feb, hoping a few more drop in in the next couple of weeks!
