Clive at CR Services has a show in January, but it's not a 'stay over' show. NADJ have one in April/May which is though....:beer1:

Im sure its been mentioned before about a Scottish meet up? The one around here is a good laugh but its nothing like it was at BPM.

Maybe an MDD meet up in jan could be an idea????????????

I've toyed with the idea of flying up for the last couple of years - if enough people are up for it, i'll definitley make sure I go this time round!

I think the next scottish meet up is to be more formal which i dont really fancy and as dmckaraoke and i were the only 2 who made the longest journey to BPM i begin to wonder wha kind of turn out there will be....i would rather a night out was arranged and the business side incorporated into it.....Jan sounds good to me

Yea i have been to event tech twice now......its good but wouldnt say its great. The first one was good....second one not as good

a bit of both if i am honest....just dont like things too formal like the first scottish meetup was....would rather it was a relaxed atmosphere and take it from there..i love networking, socialising and meeting new people...

You plan it your way, I'll plan it mine. ;) It's a :Censored: long drive down there, even when Penmare does the lions share. ;) :(

I argee and Im a pretty sad case when it comes to walking into bars and need to check out speakers/equipment etc... but even our local meet ups are pretty informal.

Depends on the people going too.

Right, since you want it that way:

You get up at a sensible time, drive down there, and drive back, conveniently forgetting that I've been up five hours before you, and won't get home till two hours after you. :p Makes yours a nice trip out, and mine a :Censored: long day. ;)

Yet the consensus at the time seemed to be that the first meetup was too relaxed and not formal enough? Most of those attending seemed to favour a more outlined agenda if there was a second meetup.

The first meeting was in no way formal and if the next one has more of an agenda, it will be dull for someone who doesn't have or isn't interested in the running of the business side of mobile discos ;) The last meeting ended up being very beneficial to me in the way of networking.

We could do with a good session at the juicer north of the border also, either way I'll be there. :beer1: :beer1:

Date for what?

Instead of asking guys get on and do it :D Already got the ball rolling for our local NADJ meet up and it doesnt take that much planning if your having an informal get together
