Does anyone who went to BPM have the literature, or remember the name of the Laser company in the little Coconut shy booth? I'm trying to find it for Mr Picky, who wants a Blue laser. ;) Many thanks folks.

Well done that man, if Propeller doesn't read it first, I'll PM him. Thanks again Tom.

If anyone else has links to an affordable blue laser, it would be apprecited.

Most kit is nowadays?

Yeah, but if you get it from this country, it's not going to cost you a fortune if it goes wrong to send it back and you won't get a load of import tax charges.

I have bought a few bits direct from China mp3 player, camera etc. and never had import tax to pay.
I guess your right with the warranty though :)

Might be because it was classed a "gift".

When I orded some camera stuff for my brother it was all classed as a "gift" to get out of paying import tax.

So, £195 with effectively no after sales service or, from what I can find, between £800 and £1800 for local product... ah well. Thanks, Tom.

I wouldnt trust the power output from a laser from the far east....

My friend bought one that was "rated" at 100mW and we set his and mine up in a club he does. Mine is 40mW and it really outdone his.

I don't think there is such a thing Peter.

There isn't. Blue diodes are so much more expensive than red or green.

Its RRP is roughly £47,000 now

there's quite a few convertions done on ebay if you just want a blue laser theres a lasercrab with a blue laser in for £90 or if your eletronically minded its easy to convert any laser effect and switch one of the laser diodes for a blue one

I think they were talking about proper lasers not laser crabs....
