domain name help form site

i need some help really..

I own the domain

rowleysmobileentertainment.co.uk

but when someone phones me for a quote and tell then to look at our website i just no for a fact when i tell them the domain they don't take it in

so need a new domain i can add

any idea's on a domain for rowleys mobile entertainment

i tryed a frew but taken on .co.uk

You don't have to necasirly use your company name.. you can have more than one domain on your site so just get a smaller one for telling people on the phone... could be anything, www.bestdisco.co.uk , www.bookadisco.co.uk etc. etc. (I haven't checked if they're available... )

That would be because its am american site and .co.uk's are usually a lot higher in price but .coms are still quite cheap though.

My brother has a discount code with them so I get them even cheaper still. :D

Try this list, all available as .co.uk I think the DJrolo is the best, easy to remember and spell. If I was you I'd get rid of most of the animated gifs on your website, they look naff

The last thing I would worry about is the domain name !
You need to hook the customer on the phone not direct them to your website !

A website is fine to get them to ring you but not the other way around !

no no your getting it wrong when i have hooked them on the phone or even tryed i can show them the pictures and video from our other disco's.

also i now have a online booking form and people can pay the deposit thorw paypal to make it faster saves posting it.

I think its a question of getting your marketing strategy sorted.

Your domain name is irrelevant.

It could be--www.thebestdjintheworldever.me

If you want to use your website as a marketing tool you need to be talking to Internet users or people with access to the Internet.

So you wont be speaking to people who dont have Internet access about your website domain name--:D

If they dont have Internet access send them a brochure.

More likely they do have Internet access---so you simply ask for their e mail and send them a confirmed quote together with a link to your site:D

If they dont want to give you their email for a quote then they are time wasters and not serious--I know;)

If you send a professional looking and sounding quotation you will increase the chances of getting business.
