Please help with rack flight case screwing amp's in

what kinda screw do i need for it ..

it will depend on the case- some have "clips" that go into the rack, others just use screws.

It sounds like you have nuts which slide up & down.

If so, just slide them into the right place & put two bolts into them.

Normally situation normal. ;) M5 or M6, I can't remember. I'd go for Pan head machine screws, possibly Stainless. Such as............

or whatever fits.

These are good as they add a bit of extra security, as to remove them you need the correct socket, which an opportunist with a couple of basic screwdrivers is less likely to have in his back pocket.

This is true but a fully loaded rack case is going to weight a bit, especially if loaded wth amps.

I'm not talking about protecting against someone wheeling an FOH rack away - that's hardly discreet, I'm talking about protecting against an opportunist visiting engineer or band member nicking an SPX2000, PCM91, etc or some other small but relatively expensive bit of kit that may not be in use at the time and may not be essential to a production thus it's going missing may not be immediately apparent.
