Mr site web building pack on sale at staples for £14.99, £5 off. (blue one)
just thought i would share with anyone fancying a bit of diy web building
made 3 site's with it and found it very easy to use.

This would be Mr Site then! I use them for hosting, but agree, ideal for people who don't have a clue. There is a forum for Mr Site users - www.mrsiteforum.co.uk so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ive heard various reports on mr site. Some good some bad

Is it any good or would it be better to get a site designed properly

As I said above I used it when I first started designing websites. If you don't know what you're doing it's brilliant, but it does have it's limitations.

I now code my site myself and just use Mr Site for hosting.

I bought my website software about 8 years ago.
Its Symantec Visual Page.
Its very easy to use compared to other packages I have tried.

I have delved into Visual Web Developer but while i can create sites with that I always go back to Visual Page for ease of use.

I bought it a few years back and was very disappointed in what you got for the price.
There are loads of website software vendors around at a much lower price.

If your not an expert in HTML and coding then go for website software with templates. Some are very good.

Are you coding the website yourself or using an existing template?

Ive used webs.com so far

Not great but had a go

prepared to be hung drawn and quartered for next move !!!
