Ebay Scammer - SM58 / Pioneer CDJ 200

Beware if buying an SM58 microphone or a Pioneer CDJ 200 from Ebay from any new account with no feedback in Herts... here's my tale.

I bid on, and won an SM58 on 3rd Jan. Here it is:

Yes I know, no feedback - but the item had PayPal Buyer Protection so I'll give it a go, I thought. Item has not been received, so I have opened a PayPal Claim today to get my money back.

Now - in the meantime - the seller also sold a Pioneer CDJ 200 - no seller feedback on that one, so I guess that has also not been received.

After opening my claim, then I went back on to look for an SM58 - and look what I found: new seller, no feedback, in Herts, selling an SM58 and a Pioneer CDJ 200!

Just too much of a coincidence, I sense a serial scammer here - it's been reported and I should get my money back - but Caveat Emptor as always!

(Yes I am a numpty, won't be doing that one again, Buyer Protection or not...)

Sorry to hear that Malcolm, must admit I would be careful about new traders but they have to start sometime with zero:D

Will paypal totally reimburse you--I ask because im thinking of bidding for a friend on a Mini Disc player---although the seller has 100 per cent over some time so I guess its better than kosher.

Must admit I wont buy a mike unless I hear it working through my equipment--
unless its from a regular Disco shop where I have a come back--difficult if second hand of course.
