Hi guys, I have just bought a lighting set up for our new venture. I wanted DMX for expandability reasons. I got my hands on someone else's set up that they were flogging as they were getting out of the mobile disco business.

The controller looks great, but I have no idea how to make it work properly as there are no instructions! Does anyone have instructions for this (or similar) controller?

The controller has eight buttons on the front plate C1-C6, auto/audio mode button and a blackout button. On the back there's DMX in and out sockets, a mic hole, a 1/4" headphone socket marked AUDIO and the 240V input socket.

The fixtures that I currently have to run from this controller are:
2 x ECH620 Micro-Barrels
2 x JBSystem Atlas LED lights
1 x SoundLab Water Wash

Over the length of time I will be running our freestyles (six hours) I want to be able to change the lighting from red/yellow/orange to dimmed blues and purples.

Cheers :beer1:

OK - no problems. It's just been manic setting up this new venture and I've been hitting millions of forums with all sorts of problems and questions. Sorry I didn't say 'hi' properly. :)

Yeah, I checked that out before I posted. I also found THIS (http://www.ukslc.org/articles/lighting/how_to_set_up_and_address_dmx_lighting.html) to be quite a help too. I was hoping that someone would be able to explain the C1-C6 buttons on the controller a bit. Just to save the 'hit-and-hope' technique I am currently using :p
