I cant believe what has happened to me.
Me and the boys in work decide to do a regular Monday night 5-a-side football which started this week. As I hadnt played for over 10 years I was looking forward to it alot, plus it would keep me fit.

Well all was going well right up to the final hour of play I twisted my knee very badly reaching up for the ball and heard a cracking noise, which left my right knee in complete agony. Luckily my knee didnt come out of its socket but I have since been to A&E and have fluid on the knee and now have to see a specialist on Friday. I am not only embarrased by also gutted I cant play for a few weeks. Luckily I dont have any discos for while. :(

I bet your mates were rally sympathetic!

I remember when one of my team took me out and broke my ribs....

No sympathy whats so ever, one guy asked if I wanted a wet willy in my ear and then another guy said can you bend your knee I said yes a bit and he said well get up you woos. Charming eh.

Don't s'pose it would help if I told you it was a knee injury that ended my illustrious(!) playing career then!

Thanks Soundtracker, although I never had a football career I just started again after 10 years of not playing hehe.

Unlucky mate, hopefully it will clear up and disappear, but knee injuries tend to stay around unfortunately - dormant until you aggravate it :(

Similar thing happened to my friend playing in Goal (found out later he had a broken collarbone) oooops!
