40th Birthday on Valentines Day...looking forward to this one!

I have a number of 40th birthday parties already this year and the first one is an 80's themed one on Valentines Day. Went to see the customer last night and we went through his requests etc...We kept coming up with more and more bands that he had forgotten about and I have to say, I have never seen anyone look so excited about their party. This chap really can't wait for it.

I am doing background music while they have a seated hot buffet and then the actual dancefloor tunes will be from 9.30pm - Midnight. I love doing these 80's nights and thought I would share some of the playlist with you. Some of the tracks are borderline late 70's or early 90's and he has been told by his mum that she MUST have 'Dancing Queen' (yawn) but apart from that...it's pretty cool.

The playlist shows that the 80s was the best decade for music, absolutely cracking tracks in there! until I saw the track "Dancing Queen" :eek: , I suppose you could get away playing the abbacadabra version, more bouncy even though its a very early 90s track....but would the punters know this? :whistle:
