Hi Everybody,
I've enjoyed reading the posts on the site for ages and ages and have finally decided to register! :)
As a young enthusiastic 15 year old DJ armed with several schwepps boxes full of records, RSC decks, FAL lights, rope light :o (sorry!) and probably the worst speakers ever I began my dj career in the local community centre. Then after selling the gear and getting married, I moved on to work with some of the multi operators in my home area for many a year...you name it, I dj'd it! Still meet people who say...."you dj'd at my wedding" I, of course reply, "Oh yes, I remember....not!
Nowadays I'm a community worker in West Lothian and have been developing adult learning programmes and I'm in the middle of working with a local multi op to establish a mobile dj training project aimed at young people over 16. Fingers crossed that it works! So I'll probably be on here a lot seeking your usual good advice.
