I was just wondering bout some lights as i was just looking at the gallery threads.
Silly question really but i like to create a nice blue puple effect behind my disco,What the best lights to do this.
Is this what you call a colour wash light sorry if its a silly question just im getting confused with par and colour wash

iv been looking at some sites but there seem so many.

We have got hold of some light fittings from a small garden centre (free as they were closing down..:D ), they are very similar to the ones below but in chrome, you can also get the coloured 50w bulbs on ebay, these work a treat for colour wash!!

There are several programmes - you can set to one colour, fade from one to another, s2l and a few others too.

They could be, I have also been told that a few 'posh' driveways have them too, I suppose you could use for a variety of things....anyway, we replaced the clear GU10 bulbs with coloured GU10's (red & blue) and looks the part for us, they are 50 watt bulbs, but dont put too near any curtains as the bulb gets pretty warm on these....when I get my digi camera back I'll take some pics and post them.
