Projector Screen Drapes

But don't think I can justify the price at present. Does anyone know of any suppliers

My cousin is very good at making things with material especially curtains, dresses etc. I don't know whether to try this or if it would be a waste of money as the material is not cheap.

Alternatively if anyone has any other suggestions please fire away. I don't really want to spend too much as I can envisage myself going for a couple of large screen tv's instead for most venues in the future.

It needs to be made with special material designed for projection purposes so it doesnt cause glare. I have seen people before using white bed sheets to project onto but apparently its not good for the eyes if the special stuff isnt used.

It's not the screen I am after but the surround.

Dont think your gonna get one cheap pal. Do you know any theatres in the area that can point you in the direction of their curtain makers, or even a blind & curtain specialist that can make to order.

Any pro that works with curtains could pleat exactly to specification, and you get more choice over the material/colour. Then theres the whole framework...... (can you weld?....)

I have seen them but the main reason for looking for other suppliers is I have 3 different size / makes of screen and wondered if anyone was to make one if I could adapt to fit.

Cheers anyway, TBH it's a long shot as a couple of large lcd's are looking the better option and I am as tight as a ducks bottom :D :D

so i believe spandex is ment to be good for projection, am good friends with a seemtress and guess what ive got coming ????, ahh that be telling lol, but anyways, check out djscreen.com, thats just spandex so i believe, or why not check out youtube, they give good ideas on projection screens if thats what your after.
