Hi all

For my pub gig this Saturday I'm thinking of trying to source some cheap fake red roses to give out to any single ladies that come along. (The DJ area is on the stairs to the ladies loos, so there's usually a lot of contact with the female punters...)

Does anyone know of a supplier?

Or does anyone have any other tips/suggestions for a Valentines gimmick?

I am also maybe thinking of giving all 'single and looking' people a wrist glowstick? The wetherspoons pub along the road is doing a 'traffic light' thing hence why my place wants to do something too - so any previous ideas would be grand.

I like the idea of the glow sticks but not so sure of the fake roses. Once one girl has one, everyone will want one, at your expense.

i did this in a pub last year/year before? fake roses ...... went down a storm bout 200 for a tenner gave them to all the ladies ....... word soon got round ..... landlord had a full pub soon after mainly ladies .............. result.

That's our thoughts behind it. No joy finding roses though so it'll just be the glowsticks I think!
