That would largely be on account of the fact that neither of the teams I support are in it. My main team are in National League 1 & are playing Cambridge on Saturday in the EDF National Trophy & My second (Rosslyn Park, the ground was more or less on my doorstep as a kid) are in National League 3.

Neither of which are particularly feasible to attend games, due to their location & my tendency to work on Saturday evenings.

LW just about scraped through to the next round this afternoon too. A good day all round (although I have to say I think England would've won if they'd had all their men on the pitch all the time. 2 immensely good 6 nations games this afternoon. Scotland were robbed, that ref should've gone to Specsavers. & what was with him giving the decision depending on the noise the crowd made?!?!?!?.

They were indeed robbed, and apparently the only persons who missed the forward pass were the ref and linesman. :eek:

In fairness to the ref he was flat on his face at the time, but why the linesman didn't spot it is anyone's guess.

Well, I have to say even though we lost, last night has to have been the best game of rugby I've seen this century!

France deserved to win by at least 14 points more than they did, there's no way that either of the disallowed tries were not tries (especially the second one) & Shanklin shouldn't really have been on the pitch when he set up Byrne's try, I don't care what anyone says, it was a high tackle & off the ground. He should've been in the sin bin.

Not really, they have to get a result in Scotland while we can do our points scored column a world of good with a few tries in Italy, both games will be tough but I don't think there will be much points difference by the time the 21st comes.

Well a 13 point win is do-able. Whether we do is another matter entirely, after last week's performance. Although Warren Gatland has made 8 changes for Saturday's starting line up (most of which are improvements).

I'm so glad I'm not working on Saturday.
