Second hand or new?

One off costs more to make than bulk.
If i build them myself I know whats in it and so its easier to fix/replace if required.
i.e. my last bass bin had a £150 driver in it.
Add £100 for the enclosure and you have a £250 bass bin.

Sorry fella but unless some poor widow is selling all her husbands disco gear you wont get anyone selling a decent working pair of bass bins for that price. You'll be far better saving up and getting quality. Will last longer, sound better its a no brainer!

I just may be able to help.
I have a pair of smartsound 12" bandpass subs that I dont need.
They are similar to these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SMARTSOUND-PORTABLE-P-A-SYSTEM_W0QQitemZ150325706703QQihZ005QQcategoryZ237 94QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
(Second pic).
These are used but fair condition , both have original covers.
The whole PA which consisted of the bins and tops ( 1 x 8" + horn) were rated at 1kw , I think this is a bit much, but there fine with a EP2500 on half power ( 8ohm load)
Smartsound are still going and can be found http://www.smartsounddirect.com/index.asp
As they are a bit on the heavy side , delivery would be a problem.
I am looking for £85 for the pair.

The ones I use are R.C.L 600W Each and they are about £100 for the pair.
I use them in the larger venues and they sound good and certainly fill the room with sound.
