Blooming Price Hike..........

Ive just been looking at purchasing a second Serato Scratch Live, so i can leave one permanantly set up in the box and keep one in the bag for club use and had a look on HTFR (the place i got the first one) and have found that ist now £449...I only paid £374.99 last May:eek: . In HFTRs defence, all suppliers seem to have hiked the price up.

Other than Class-D, has anyone else found this with things?

Nearly everything has gone up.

Denon and RCF are or have put their prices up. My suppliers tell me there is a price rise from March on most things too.

I think its going to be an ebay purchase. I really object to paying a £70 price hike....

Its great, were in a Recession and everythings going through the roof, wheres the dole line. Beats working for a living :D

Cortex have increased from £199 to roughly £260 (although you can get them at cheaper price if you look around). I think the rises seem to be across the board.

Holiday, been there and done that with work and dont want to cross that bridge again. It was fun in its day but getting between 50-100 Euros a night (granted free accomodation) just dont do it for me anymore. I didnt particulary earn anything off it but the experience was great :D

My son is mildly autistic, most recent doctor says it may actually be emergent Asperger's - in the UK my son gets a TA (for now, and possibly fulltime from September) in NZ he would not, in the UK my wife has already completed the Autism Society course for parents, in NZ she'd still be on the waiting list. All that said the main reason for coming over (we bought the ticket's before Josh's diagnosis came in) was that I have a UK passport and if the kids want theirs they need to have lived in the UK for a year by the time they're 16 (Josh is five in July). And we like the UK.

In that case, the grass is definately greener over here. I would have traded the scenic views too had i been in your position, regardless of the passport situation. :) - Cant agree with actually liking the UK though, try living up in the lakes, you could drown in the amount of water we get.

rotating gobos wasnt a big deal and i see it as an extra thing to go wrong- happy without.

well the irock hid's have gone up in price to 550 a pair and flightcases are 75 each flightcases so at least if i sell mine i might be able to get a good price for them secondhand
