i managed to get 2 of the long soundlab bags that take 4 cans each

Those foldable stackable B+Q plastic crates (about £3 each) comfortably hold four LEDJ PAR56's face down with an assortment of bits & bobs in between the cans such as coiled up DMX cables, floor stands etc.

Perfect for occasional use. Not so sure they'd be rugged enough for use day-in-day-out and certainly no good for hire use but they're perfect for what I do with them.

I did that and they got damaged. Ariba seems a good bet. you could put the bags in another cheaper bag.

I have 14 uplighters so looking expensive :)

Anyways...

I have a couple of Arriba bags for other things - Impossibled, mirrorball.

The mirrorball one I do fret about slightly as it's literally an inch of squishy padding all round, but as I don't use it very often it's worked so far.

The impossibled-sized one also holds all the 'bits' for my ultimax stand, a toolkit, a couple of spare lamps and a couple of CA8s. It's been seriously abused, hauled around every gig for about 8-9 months now and is still pristine :beer1:

They're bags Toby! What do you need to know?!! They are padded and afford enough protection if you are careful and load your vehicle properly. There is a pocket in the front where you can store clamps and things and they are £20....not a major investment really. ;)

well worth the investment :D , getting one for my par cans soon, and one for my wires...
