Watched on Sky+ in about 20 minutes ... a similar shambles to previous years but it has to be said that the Ting Tings / Estelle mash of Shut Up & Let Me Go / That's Not My Name and American Boy was absolutely stunning (once they got in key), as was Brendan Flowers' and Lady Gaga's sing-a-long-a Pet Shop Boys medley. Top marks for those.

The rest of the show was pretty dire though, except Kylie who was sweet as ever ;) :D

Anyone else have the sense to watch most of it at 30x speed? :p

Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember these awards when they were known as "The British rock & pop awards"

Was it me or were Take That miming really badly? Their spot was cringe worthy. Would have liked to see The Weller do a spot, but Kings of Leon were tops.

Thanks for posting the Pet Shop Boys medley Martin as I missed the Brits the other night. Brilliant stuff! PSB were the first group I really got into, and from 'Love Comes Quickly' onwards I would buy each single on 12" on its day of release (even if it meant walking all the way from Warwick to Leamington Spa after school). I stopped doing tjis in 1994 when I went to Israel for a few months, and never started again when I got back.

I now have a huge dilemma as I have double-booked myself in June. Do I go to see the PSB at the O2 or do I go to the Oval for the semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup? :confused:
