Hi all,

I might be in the wrong area of the forum here but just wondered how much you guy's think my speakers are worth on the second hand market.
They are JBL EON 15 G2's and i have a pair. They are under 2 years old and i have original boxes and packaging and are in immaculate condition.
If i sell how much are they worth? paid £850 for them. Just need some advice as i dont want to undersell or overprice them!

Have a look online and find how much you can buy then now but look for the cheapest website you find.

I would them reduce the price from there.

Make sure the website is uk based. Ebay does not count.

To give you an example I have just sold my Denon HD2500. You can now buy that for £460 the last time I checked so I sold it for £350. Its in mint condition with no problems and also has all the updates.

Hope this helps. :)

If you paid £850 for them two years ago, I'd have thought somewhere between £400 and £500 would be a reasonable price.

I disagree - I think that's quite a high estimate. I reckon £400 would be the most you'd get for them. Good luck though, I might be wrong.

i agree, based upon the price that i found (£689) new, id have thought £300 would be a fair price and £400 if you found the right buyer

If new ones are that cheap now (which I wasn't aware of), then I agree with your figures.

My previous estimate was based on the assumption that they still cost the same now & are in immaculate condition with the original boxes & packaging.

If you are looking at new then I think they are all made in China now. If you get an old pair they might of been put together elsewhere. :)

i dont see the point in putting your hand in your pocket to make a sideways step

i dont see any difference between italian mackies and eons
however there are no new italian mackies left (sold out years ago) so if they are second hand, then you will be forking out for no advantage whatsoever
