Daytime job ideas ??

Now I am dedicated full time to my business, I often find myself at a loose end during the day. I don't really want to commit to a part time job but quite fancy doing something (preferably at home) to make a few extra quid during the day.

Any ideas ??? does anyone else find they have a lot of free time on their hands ??

The obvious one is ebay, my wife used to sell a lot of the kids clothes on there which were in good condition along with some toys. Start them off at 99p and make a bit on the postage, some months she made £200 or so which is always better than just giving them away.
She works full time now so the attic is getting clogged up a bit.
The thing to remember with ebay is that someone out there will buy your unwanted items if the price is right.
The funniest thing that happened to my wife was when she sold a pair of her sandals (slip on shoes etc) on there, the photo showed them on her feet and a strange bloke emailed her asking if she had any other shoes for sale as he liked the look of her feet, my wife played along for a bit but felt a bit uncomfortable after a while with his foot fetish...some strange people out there.;)

Mostly work, couple with running this place, and a football team and having two kids....;)

There are some days when I am sat here doing sod all to be honest and the phone doesn't ring or there is nothing in my emails but then again, most of the time I am busy updating accounts (I don't like leaving it), bookings, answering calls and emails etc and all the other stuff.

I have utilised my van. If it is sat outside not doing anything then it can be used to earn me money so I do the odd delivery, trip to the tip etc etc.. I actually got some cards done and chucked them through some doors when I first started out when it was quieter so I have a few people who I clear rubbish for and also a couple of shops who I do cash and carry runs for.

I go to the dump everyday and boot fairs on Sundays.

I then sell the stuff on Ebay. On a good week i take about £300.

It great fun to sell something you bought for £5 for £60 or so.

Well just had my first ebay sale. Sold some old car parts off when I used to have classic cars. Got the parts given years ago and was going to skip them. Stuck them on ebay and got £23.99 (plus postage). Fairly easy to do but the fees are definetly something to be remembered.

Time to clear out the loft, garage, spare room, grandmothers garage ........ :D :D
