Does anyone here know much about Joomla? How easy is it to master as i am thinking of building my website with joomla.

I've never used Joomla although it is very popular. Youshould also check out CMS Made Simple (http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/).

I have hosting with streamline.net, and started playing about with joomla, only on localhost tho, not yet uploaded to streamline as unsure at the moment how to. I have designed a site using the steamline.net sitemaker (www.kingdombeats.co.uk) but not really happy with it

I'm using snews for a music production site that i set up. Its more of a blog style but it seems to work fine for a normal website! www.chemical-productions.co.uk/CMS Just needs a little bit of work but you can see how it forms it all.
