I just renewed my van insurance.

Existing supplier wanted £160 on renewal for third party fire & theft cover, full business use etc. (van's only worth about a grand).

Went to More Than and they wanted £170 for fully comp. Strangely, they wanted £169 for third party F+T. So for the extra quid...

Anyway, before I committed I checked Quidco and they've got an £85 cashback deal with More Than.

So, I started the transaction again via Quidco, snaffled my £85 discount bringing it down to £85 and just now received a confirmation email from More Than with all the usual guff and they're sending me a £50 fuel card as a new customer bonus!! :o :)

So basically my van insurance for next year has cost me £35  :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: :beer1:

It gets better.

They also offered payment by 12 instalments at 0% APR... so I took it!!!!

Lucky git, being straight off the boat with zero NCD I pay over £400.

Mind you I'm 15 miles from Glasgow city centre and you live where the crime rate is practically zero probably. Can sheep jack cars?
