Hi, I’ve just got myself a Martin Wizard, the problem I have is, the crossbar on my Ultimax stand leans a lot. You might be able to make it out on the picture below.

Does anyone have any advice on how to best mount this light?

It’s probably safe but it doesn’t give me much confidence.

Without being 100%, is there a way that you can get a modified G Clamp so that the units bracket hangs vertically (not horizontally) and is flush (ish) to the unit. This should pull the unit tighter in to the truss.

That’s a good point, I have a cunning plan, I may drill a hole in the front of the G Clamp so that it can be mounted flush.

I think with something that big/heavy I'd be looking to add an auxiliary bracket horizontally across the back of the unit such that I could hang it using two or possibly even three clamps.
