I got mine for £110 brand new from a local dealer. It should have been £130 but had a tiny scratch on the bracket so he knocked off £20!

glad to hear it nile been a pleasure doing buisness with you!

I find its great sound to light mode however depends how you are using it as its not for mobile disco use.

You can buy a "Ca-8" controller for it which plugs into the back and you can select shows or black it out quite easily.

I didnt bid in the end - but I got the one off here for £50 plus postage and paypal, so still less than £65. Happy to pay 1/2 price for a used product. Only shows 85 hours of use.

The one I saw on fleabay got to about £80 Plus £15 postage so making it £95.
I just thought I would have prefered to get a new one with warranty and stuff for an extra £20, so didnt bid in the end. Had one in checkout when I got the message re one on here. so am a happy bunny!

BTW all.
Just thought I would mention - I love this light!!
well pleased!
My problem is now my old battered up halogen stuff now looks dull as ****!
So....
Since I only do a few gigs, and dont have a huge setup, I was wondering what else to tie it up with.
I thought about another @ the other side DMX'd.
and then maybe a laser in the middle. But lasers are expensive...

thoughts anyone???
cheers

Nile the thing i found after using led lights for awhile is too many dots just looks abit "messy" and as it is a room filler do you really need another light?

Where do you have it pointed? i personally had it down on the floor which looked pretty cool so im guessing you want something to point towards the walls?

Nile

actually I kinda thought that.!
I have it to one side, as I did have it in the middle but being a tall lanky git, I found it annoyed me after one night on my regular pub gig. Does it not get in anyone elses line of sight in the middle - or do you have it fastened higher somehow? although this could be a problem with ceiling heights?
On the other side I have some light I cannot remember the name of - but the usual GOBO / mirror type thingy. Just looks outclassed by the impossibled and may as well not be there!
Yes i did have it on the floor across the pub, looks cool especially with some smoke .
Anyhow, the reason I thought 2 Dmx'd was too even it out, but I can see thinking about it that it would probably looka mess.
hmmm

hmmm.

nope I have no idea what to do, short of spending 100's on scanners or lasers!
????
although I do love both.......
:-)

thought anyone??

Give it time.

You'll soon realise it's just a load of coloured dots & sell it!
