Does anyone have or know where I can get (for free ideally) video footage of a mirror ball close up?
I want it so I can project the image onto a large brick wall of a venue.
Any ideas?
Alternatively if anyone has a nice camcorder they want to test out feel free to "test its ability" by filming a close up of a mirror ball with a little haze!! ;) ;)

There's a short mirrorball sequence on Phil Bearman's 70s visual DVD...

If suitable you could rip & loop it?
(or for similar money buy a mirrorball :D)

Depends when you need it mate i could film it for you but not till next week as the venue I will be using it for is having a 70s night...
I have both Phil Bearman/Mastermix Visuals and there good if you would give me..
A better idea how you would like the video shot?
Colour?
Video Length?
Format?
Answers these questions and if you able to wait till next week the clip is yours....

You sir are a gentleman.
I'm not too picky, buy ideally it would be a couple of white pinspots, a little haze and a fairly tight close up of it just spinning for 5-10 mins that I can then loop somehow.
Format? I'm not too clued up but something that can be sent by dropbox/ftp so mp4?
Would really appreciate this.
Cheers

This would be nothing to do with the visual effect that was on "Strictly Pop dance Idol comic Dribble on ice" on Saturday night ......I caught a glimpse of that and very impressive it was too.

was working on sat so no.
been trying to use the projector more of late when the venue lends itself to it, but the mirror ball is something I've never got round to sorting out.
