Well it's done.

Just want to say a big thanks to Rob for helping out. You did a great job of moving the gear in and out as well as help pack down. :beer1:

THe gig was a wedding and I was covering for another DJ. Turned out to be a really good gig.

Plenty of dancing through out the night. Lost them with a few songs but thats ok. Even got most of them dancing to some DMC remix stuff. :o:D

The groom came up and asked if I could play some Ska. Well, I dont really have any real Ska in my collection but he had bought a CD with him. Played a Madness song and 2 Bad Manners songs. THis was for the groom and "his boys" as he puts it.

Was great to see them dance about . lol.

As usuall when the B&G left, abouty two thirds of the people left but there was still enough peoiple to finish off the party. Was a great night all in all.

Anything I have missed Rob??? lol :D

Well done both. :D I roadied for Justin on Friday, and I marvelled at the small size of his cabs! Doubtless Rob did the same with yours Tom. ;)

I had the bonus of a leisurely drive of a Laptop playout system. I can now actually find a track and make it play. :D :D

Thanks Tom!

It was great to help you, as it's always good to see other DJs in action, but something I rarely get the chance to do.

You've seen ME working a couple of times, so it was about time I saw YOU!

You have a great set up (apart from using CDs!!!), and BOY does a sub make a difference to the bass! I remember thinking the same thing when I heard Darren's set up.

Thanks again for letting me help.

:beerchug:

(By the way...that's Coke in those pint glasses!)

Unfortunately not, Ollie...as I forgot to take my camera & the battery on Tom's was flat!

Coke or Pepsi all the way. lol.

Hope the bass wasn't too much for you. The good thing was like I said was I put the sub in the corner to increase bass output. I had the system crancked quite loud for a small venue and the sub didnt clip at all.

All thanks for corner loading. lol.

Nevermind :)

I did take one picture but its not worth posting as it was taken on my Blackberry. It may have a 3.2mp sensor but as the sensor is so small, the quality is really bad.

Never mind. :)

I do hope that's not a euphemism Peter

I can drive a formula 1, doesn't make me an expert :D :p :D Stick to your little screens :p :D Still see you struggling to master my behemoth of a mixing desk though :D
