Ok so i had ordered some items from a trade wholesaler, To fit out a bar
And onto the order had added a smoke machine and some lights for a client, Who wanted them for a childrens birthday party,
So they arrive all well and good, I fit the bulbs in the lights and give them a test, Then i look the smoke machine all seems ok
So i call the client to come and pick his items up, I decide give the smoke machine a quick test, so i power it up in the garage, I smell burning plastic cant see anything, And the units metal,
So i open the fluid tank, And shock horror ! :Censored: :mad:
The heat from the heater had melted through the damm bottle !, With melted plastic oozing down, I hate to think what would have happened if i hadnt have tested it, Or it was me who wanted it and took it out on a gig !
Moral of the story always check and double check and pat newly brought gear
