As we know, marriage can require us to walk a tightrope at times, and I fear I may have fallen off it. :( :( I came down to breakfast a fortnight ago, to a wife wearing a face like thunder.
"What's wrong, my angel" I enquired?
"Last night you were talking in your sleep, and you kept on about Linda! "
"Ah" said I, thinking quickly, "we had a bet at work on a horse called Lucky Linda, and it won. I bought you a box of chocolates with the winnings". Clever, or what? :D This morning though, I had a problem. :( :( I have never seen such a look of anger on her face.
"What troubles you, light of my life" I asked with genuine concern.
"Your horse has just been on the phone!" :eek: :D :D
