Lighting Choices.

I have trawled through the Lighting sections and found some ideas as to what I may need but I thought i'd ask anyway to see what other ideas may arise.

Basically I am changing my lightshow and the only effect I am keeping is the Impossibled as a centrepiece. I have a 4ft Giraffe deckstand and for the time being I was thinking of just a light/effect either side of the Impossibled, I am looking to add a laser at a later date (probably cluster).

What should I go for, if I head down the LED route then will it be too busy or should I go for cans.

Budget is £200 - £250.

where do you have the impossiled pointed?

Proplem with that light i found is it takes up so much of the room that you dont really need any other lights but then if you take one light it looks daft when looking at your goalposts.

I wish i never brought any led and like folks said go for four dynarocks

You can have plenty of other effects but just point them in different directions for maximum effect.

I have a 4ft Giraffe stand and tons of lights which I change around all the time. I mainly use 2 x Mystic LED's and 4 x Dynarocks. That's plenty in my opinion.

for me, id get 2 acme 250w dynamo scanners. £200 - nice and symetrical and completely different style of light.

definately get 2 dynamo 250w scanners and link them master/slave.

My honest opinion is save your money and maybe get a pair of martin EFX500 and have the ImpossibLED pointing upwards onto the ceilings in the venues.
