May i be the first to wish the grand old lady a happy 45th birthday on Easter Sunday. It was due to her in the sixties, that steered my career path.:beer1: :cake:

I'll second that.
If I'd have been born about 16 years earlier, I'd have probably been on there & then ended up as a DJ on legal radio.
I went out & visited Radio Caroline when they were broadcasting from the Ross Revenge (I think) in the North Sea back in 1983 or 1984.
A very interesting trip.

Hi Rob,
You can still visit the Ross, its in the liner terminal at Tilbury Docks, undergoing restoration. Check it out on Google Earth.
Ray.

Will do.
Thanks for the info.
:)
Edit: Trivia time. Radio Caroline was probably the best known pirate in the North Sea, and was named after Caroline Kennedy. The best known land based pirate, Radio Jackie started 5 years later and was named after Jackie Kennedy.
