google shopping is your friend
679 is an expensive price even for the MK2's
yet these are MK1's and www.whybuynew.co.uk sell them the cheapest

whybuynew arent new though sir, Majority B Grade or Old stock

actually, the majority of whybuynew's stock IS new, they arent allowed to advertise as such because of strict price fixing by the major suppliers, mackie being one of them.
and of course MK1's are old stock, but Mackie keep bringing lots back unsold from Europe, they are 100% brand new with full 12 month warrantys
a couple of months ago, before mackie clamped down on people discounting, the going rate price was £699, which they were able to make a half decent profit on. YOu may find a direct phone call to some stores will yield you this price

My Mackies weren't new when i got them from WBN! They had one or two dings on the back which i was expecting.

yes you will get that, but genuinely how many Ex-Demo pairs can one shop have? Most are just old MK1 stock from Europe, this has been confirmed by the Mackie Reps own mouth!

kjsdisco, as a major installer and retail such as yourself, you should know the score with this company
they are a very good company with very good prices, its not all b grade + ex display. Its a great marketing tool which makes people presume they are the cheapest (they are not always) as the goods are supposedly B Grade/ex demo etc. Theres nothing wrong with describing your goods as B Grade or Ex Display, when they are infact NEW!
Surely with all the Big accounts you have, you can ask some of the reps that you deal with?
