Having watched the game, I would be very happy regardless, if I was a Man United fan. They pretty much controlling the game with a second string side, only lacking a cutting edge.

I too will be backing Everton in the final!

as a liverpool fan i wanted united to win. The best chance for us to win it is if united keep having more and more games to content with.

IT was a terrible game and the ref was awful. I think united should of had a pen but then again they'd of missed it judging by the shoot out lol

Have you been to Liverpool

I can't believe you say you wanted Utd to win.

Everyone in Liverpool Hates Manchester and everything it stands for. Right down to when the new style number plates came out people in Liverpool bought cars from outside the area due to the "M" prefix on them if they got them locally

Had United won today, they would have one extra game - the FA Cup Final. That would fall after the conclusion of the league anyway, but I suppose if they got past Arsenal to the Champions League final, then they may have an eye on that and the FA Cup in the last one or two league games.

Plus you think fergie isnt going to give them the hairdryer treatment after today? You think they wont go out and try to prove a point in their next league game.

Even though the fa cup would be the last game of the season it would affect team selections for league games.

It wouldn't have been the same team in the next league fixture anyway, regardless of result. The only players from today who will start the next game are Vidic and Ferdinand (and very possibly Berbatov, despite his pen miss)
