What do you think of these LED versions of the spot banks, do you think they are naff or do you think they would make a good cheaper alternative to LED pannels ? I think Im leaning towards naff, but I've not seen them in action.

Naff,

I've seen these for sale in a local cash converter for over £100 for a pair. They look as cheesy as the old spot banks and don't produce as much light.

I've seen some more expensive versions of these in my local DJ store, and they're pretty bright. I just don't like the appearance of the 'chase' effect.
