Hi all,
My name is Ian Scott and I am a full-time professional mobile DJ and vocalist based in South-East Essex. I have been jocking for over 20 years now, inspired by anything from Italiano house music to Sixties Motown and Stax. I've played all over the UK (and some minor stints overseas) and still love every minute of it!
I use primarily Denon equipment as the head unit, a big QSC PLX3602 amp with EV and/or Turbosound speakers as my PA. I'm a big fan of the new LED technology for lighting, and have around 15 different effects. Still love the Martin stuff though, and just wish they would join the LED revolution!
I was formerly the manager of a DJ equipment retailer/installer so I know a bit about the gear, and more than willing to give a humble and honest opinion if anyone needs help with their purchases.
Also spent 10 years working for Universal Music (World's biggest record co.) so most of my life's been spent in or around music!
