Just finished making 2 of these to mount my monitors better on the rig

Made out of a Vesa tilt mount and a g clamp, They will be safety chained also, This should make the setup quicker and more pro looking

And on the back of the monitor while its still in its case, Still fits ! luckily

Going to be used with 19" widescren monitors, Sometimes just the one and sometimes a a a pair, Depending if its karaoke or a video disco,

Is sometimes easier then working with the projector in small venues,

Can't make mind up wether i should put 2 glamps on each

and attached it to the adjustable uprights on the 4ft Giraffe stand, it swivels around facing the DJ or the audience depending on where they want to stand to sing.

I had to open out the original holes slightly but it looks good on the goalpost.

Thats an intresting one, Could i ask how you have secured it to the upright ? on the giraffe, As i was tempted by something similair but couldnt find anything suitable,

I drilled through the upright in a few places (to allow for rooms with different height ceilings) and secured the bracket with bolts and wingnuts (the ones supplied with the Giraffe stand).

I thought that I would have had to load up the stand with the amp and mixer in case the weight of the monitor (AG Neovo 17") would topple it but it is solid even unloaded.

I will try and post up a pic soon.

Its hooked on max its a g clamp, as used for lighting industry wide, And is tightened up very tightly, It doesnt move at all, Its also safety chained for double security as with all our fittings, heres a simple on a test rig,

I think thats an ace idea. i have a spare 17" monitor, and we have a few disco gigs this year where they want karaoke too. Nice one...

Thats what we use to use, However they always seemed to be in the way of the laptops and mixers

well im going to bolt it onto my DJ booth, so it should be out of the way, im also going to "Try" it on the overhead bar, but i think this wont work. The Bracket arrives today, so ill let you know!
