Who will you be supporting in this weeks Champions League Semi Finals?
Me, I'm a Gooner through and through and hoping that my brother has a spare ticket!!! Although for £50.00 it's a P take when Arsenal charge the away fans £35.00 at the best stadium in the UK. :D
As for the other tie, I'm hoping for Barcelona, I was in Paris in 2006 and was gutted when they scored.

Meh, who cares when Reading still have half a chance of automatic promotion..

It's gotta be the Red Devils!!

Meh, who cares when Reading still have half a chance of automatic promotion..Not if Big Eck has anything to do with it ;)

Sorry to be a spoil sport, but I won't be supporting anyone, partly because I'm not interested in football & partly because these matches have a negative effect on the attendance at some of my quiz nights.

So funny, refereeing was terrible, but there MUST be very hefty fines for Drogba, Ballack, Terry and Lampard for the scenes.
Absolute disgrace.
Still, you can't score in the 9th minute and then play the remaining 81 minutes with 9 men behind the ball. Deserved all they got and get!

Perhaps I was watching a different match to you? Barcelona didn't have an attempt on target until they scored. And I definately saw Chelsea go forward on several occasions culminating in several incidents that should have been penalties.
The referee was disgraceful,, but that doesn't justify the actions of some, especially Drogba.

Absolute disgrace.I agree, particularly Drogba - acting like a spoiled little child who didn't get his way.
The referee I think could, and probably should have given at least another penalty to Chelsea, but I thought he gave a lot of the smaller decisions to Chelsea too.
Still, you can't score in the 9th minute and then play the remaining 81 minutes with 9 men behind the ball. Deserved all they got and get!Again, absolutely right, and even with the extra man they made a negative substitution. It made for a boring game really, I've never enjoyed watching Chelsea play (Abramovich era).
With their two full backs suspended for the final, I think Barca are a sitting duck for United now.
Perhaps I was watching a different match to you? Barcelona didn't have an attempt on target until they scored.True, they struggled to break Chelsea down, but then Chelsea were playing with 5 at the back with 3 or 4 sitting just in front of them for a good amount of the game - how do you play your way through that!?

in all fairness essiens goal was worthy of winning the champions league!
I never thought I would ever say this but I do feel sorry for chelsea but they should of put the game to bed before then. Ref wasnt as bad as people made out but granted another ref may of given them two pens.

With the ref from the first game he should have given Barcelona a penalty aswell when Henry was pulled down in the box by Malouda.

He wasn't that bad? I'm not a Chelsea supporter, but he was absolutely rubbish IMO and lots of others, papers, pundits etc.

Only one winner, Mr Platini, he must be as pleased as punch.

After watching the penalty appeals again tonight, there were only two valid penalty claims for me - the one where a free kick was awarded on the edge of the box, and the one where Anelka's attempted flick over Pique was handled. In fact, that was the only stonewall penalty IMO.

even if only one penalty was awarded that would of been enough to put chelsea through (provided it was converted of course) i did not see the match so won't comment on it, but i did enjoy texting some friends who are chelsea supporters and telling them my sat nav had gone wrong, i put in chelsea and it said 2 minutes from rome.then when they protested how bad the ref was i said they were just bad losers.i know the joke is an old one but they gave me a lot of stick when chelsea beat liverpool.
