Hazer

Right then people, im after a hazer. However it has to be a proper oil based haze machine, not a smoke machine with a fan (i.e. Fazer).

Im absolutly lost and havent a clu what to look for, or even search google for as hazer fetches up the smoke machines pretending to be hazers.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers Ollie & Daz, the Le Maitre was one i came across a while ago, and couldnt remember. I may wait and see what the Euro does daz, but that looks promissing. Cheers both.

Sorry for perhaps highjacking this thread for a moment but what's the difference between a hazer and a smoke machine producing fine fog?

The three most popular professional hazers are the Look Unique, Martin Magnum and the Le-Maitre Neutron XS and will all set you back in the region of £600+ but all have the ability to create a very very fine mist.

The main difference between the above and a smoke machine pretending to be a hazer is that a hazer can run continuously - outputting the level of haze selected none stop where as a smoke machine pretending to be a hazer had a run cycle to allow it to reheat.

In my experience you get a much finer, even coverage of haze with the professional hazers.

A hazer is different to a smoke machine and a fazer is a smoke machine with a fan pretending to be a hazer.

A hazer, as said is a far finer mist, as it "cracks" (by forcing the parcicles through a smaller opening) the fluid into a far thinner mist. This lower particle distribution is a benifit as it means smoke alarms are not as easily set off by them.

So which of the three would you reccommend the James
