uplighting marquee requirements

hi all,

Ive been asked to do uplighting (DMX'd to a certain scheme) for a marquee.

I'm considering taking 8 ADJ 10mm par cans and 2 LEDJ stratos washes.

the marquee is 9m x 18m



would you say this is sufficient?

Hi mate. I guess that it depends on how much of the marquee you want to cover? I normally work on the basis of 1 par can per 2M/3m to get an even wash depending on the fixture being used. (just my opinion)

thanks, I think its too give the uplighting effect in panels ie - red-darker-blue-darker-red-darker-blue (if that makes sense :) )rather than the full wash - im just waiting confirmation off the venue. cheers
