As most of you no im making my own speakers cabs
come to try them out the 1 speakers stops working ..
it was working on my last gig last week and now it not ..
any idea??

Hi,
Most jocks that i know in this area go to maj electronics in Kingswinford for basic speaker repairs and compnents.Ask for Mick he will sort it.

Send them back to the manufacturer.......Oh that's you !!:D
Have you made sure that all the connections are terminated correctly?
Could have a loose connection maybe?

if you are making your own, surely you must have enough technical expertise to be able to fix them yourself too?

i soldered the wrong wires on the spakon pins lol
lucky i tested on my hifi befor sending of would of looked stupided lol

Am I being a bit daft here!!!
Surely it wouldn't have worked originally if the wires were soldered incorrectly, unless you've got Gremlins with soldering irons :confused:

There are several things to check, If passive then the crossover and/or drivers.
Active are very common to have faults.
Is there sound coming out, but only one frequency?
You need to provide more detail ....
Or does it not work completely?
