Its just shocking that it happened, and the thought of even more students (160 during accident) around 250 when i was planned to enter.
The school is going to be in so much :Censored:

You THINK?
Health is the most important thing in life by a mile.
I don't see how there can even be any argument on that.

You can't argue with that Rob. Ah well what happened in the end with your RS exam? I will kill you if you didn't take it and they give you your predicted grade. :p
Best of luck and a speedy recovery to anyone hurt. :)

Yeah but the answers are a matter of opinion not a set answer

Luckily, accidents like these are fewer in occurrence in modern times, but it does make it all the more shocking.
As for Religious Education - no-one wanted to study it at school, and I despised my devout Christian teacher preaching, rather than educating. However, in hindsight, I often wish I had a better religious education, as it prepares you when you get out into the world and mix with different cultures and religious groups.
You couldn't pick a better example than the teacher in Sudan allowing the pupils to name a teddy 'Muhammad', a couple of years ago.

Yeah it's Relgious Studies.
Nathan, it's partly a set answer as you have to state the Christian views on the matter you are discussing, followed by an opinion.

Yeah you need to learn all the facts. It's harder then most people think. You need fact before you can lead with an argument :)

We never had an 'RS' exam when I did my GCSE's (wow that makes me sound old), mind you, I never went to any Religious Education lessons from year 8 onwards. :D

Why do they keep changing it?
When my Mum was at school, it was RI (religious instruction).
When I was at school it was RE (religious education).
Now it's RS (religious studies).
I wonder what it will be called ten years from now?

I doubt it will exist, there's already too much political correctness about!
It is good having a grounding in religious beliefs, I can put up a pretty good argument to certain 'groups' who knock on doors to get rid of them ;)
Either that, or send the step-daughters to answer the door, last time they did that, they were (pretending) to 'come on' to them. It was so funny, they went off almost running. :D :D
